How to enable PS5 Console Sharing and Offline Play
PS5™ Console Sharing and Offline Play is automatically enabled on the PS5 console you use to sign in to PlayStation™Network for the first time. To enable Console Sharing on a new PS5 console, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play.
- Select Enable.
- Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play.
- Select Disable.
What is PS5 Console Sharing and Offline Play?
When you enable console sharing and offline play, anyone who uses your PS5 console can:
- Play your games and media even when the console is offline.
- Play games and media you’ve purchased and downloaded.
- Enjoy some benefits of your PlayStation Plus membership, such as online multiplayer and Game Help.

- You can enable Console Sharing and Offline Play on one PS5 console at a time.
PS5 Console Sharing and Offline Play does not affect your other console activation limits.

How to remotely disable PS5 console sharing
To deactivate a console you no longer have access to, sign in to Account Management and deactivate all devices. Please note, you can only remotely deactivate all devices every 6 months.
